IATSE Local 492

IATSE Local 492 is proud to offer several safety and education courses at no charge to its members.  The current courses offered include:

• Aerial Lift/MEWP Training **

• Fork Lift Training **

• OSHA 10 Certification **

• CPR/AED/First Aid Training

• Railroad Safety

• Online Training via TTF Portal

  • ​General and Environmental Safety (A & A2) *

  • Workplace Harassment Prevention (HP1 & HP2) *

  • COVID-19 Safety (C-19) *

• Craft-Specific Training, including:

  • Prop Firearms Safety

  • Construction & Power Tools

  • Sewing

• Safety First Courses through CSATF

Classes marked (*) are mandatory for all members.  Classes marked (**) are mandatory for some crafts.  Members interested in these courses should contact the Education Coordinator for inclusion in the next available class.
